At ELF College, we are committed to ensuring the fair treatment of all learners throughout their educational journey. We strive to provide a transparent, supportive, and equitable learning environment where learners' rights are respected and protected. This policy outlines the processes related to the fair enrollment of learners, clear contractual terms, refund arrangements, the right to a cooling-off period, and access to a fair complaints procedure.

Transparent Enrollment and Contractual Terms

  1. Fair and Transparent Enrollment Process

    • Learners applying to ELF College are given clear, accurate, and comprehensive information about the courses, including entry requirements, course content, duration, assessment methods, and costs before enrolling.

    • The enrollment process is structured to ensure transparency, allowing learners to make an informed decision regarding their studies.

    • The application form and enrollment agreement clearly outline the learner's rights and obligations as well as the College's responsibilities.

  2. Clear and Fair Contractual Terms and Conditions

    • The terms and conditions of enrollment are clearly stated and provided to all learners before they register. These terms include, but are not limited to:

      • The duration and structure of the course.

      • The course fees and payment schedule.

      • Any additional costs related to the course (e.g., materials or assessments).

      • The refund policy and cooling-off period.

    • These terms and conditions are accessible at all times via the ELF College website and are also available for learners to request in writing.

  3. Refund Agreement

    • ELF College offers a clear and fair refund policy to learners. This includes:

      • Full refunds if a course is canceled by the College before it starts.

      • Refunds based on a proportional fee structure if a learner withdraws from the course before a specified deadline (e.g., within 14 days of enrollment).

      • Learners are advised of the refund terms at the time of enrollment and provided with a clear understanding of the applicable deadlines and conditions.

  4. Cooling-Off Period

    • All learners benefit from a cooling-off period of 14 days from the date of enrollment.

      • During this period, learners may cancel their enrollment and receive a full refund, provided that no assessments have been completed or materials have been accessed.

      • Learners are made aware of this cooling-off period before they complete their enrollment process, and it is clearly stated in the terms and conditions.
